Richard Riley enlisted in the Army then spent 3 years in Germany. He received his Commission from IUPUI, ROTC. Rich started his officer career as an Armored Cavalry Platoon Leader. Rich’s wide-ranging Army experiences spanned the three combat arms branches His last year was a deployment to Bosnia as a part of IFOR. After retirement, Rich saw two tours in Kosovo as a DOD Contractor. Then from July 2003 to December 2007, Rich again served as a DOD Contractor in Iraq. In those four exhilarating years, Rich was assigned in south and central Iraq to Baghdad’s Green Zone, Kirkush, Basrha and Al Hillah. Rich currently lives Western Pennsylvania.
